Okehampton Excelsior Silver Band
There has been a band in Okehampton for over 150 years.
Okehampton Excelsior Silver Band is a traditional Brass Band which performs concerts, attends contests and plays at carnivals, fete, parades and events, helping others to raise funds for charity. The Band is not sponsored and is self funded, relying on fundraising events and donations from local organisations and generous support of people in the Okehampton area.
The Band has a busy calendar of events each year, so if you would like the band at your functions an early request is wise.
Practices are two evenings a week and are free to anyone interested in joining. If you would like information about joining the band (instruments are provided) please ‘phone or Email us.
